Books for LPCFC’s Big Red Bookshelves: The Big Red Bookshelf Project places bright bookshelves stocked with gently-used or new books appropriate for children from Birth – 3rd grade reading levels in the community where families with young children visit. Children are invited to take a book home to keep and share! Books can be donated at LPCFC or at the Duluth Children’s Museum.
Youth Mentoring Activities: In 2017, LPCFC started one-on-one and one-on-two youth mentoring. Our staff spend time with children who live in the Lincoln Park neighborhood doing activities like boxing, fishing, rock climbing, gardening, catching a movie, and much more!
